Congratulations Cheesestick in achieving Gold Banner. Yes he did it two champions only. If your thinking of rising your elo, it may not be a bad idea to master a champion. Your main would probably be banned in every inhouse and every custom scrims, but hey, its a small price for that shiny gold banner. All the best and good luck to everyone in rising elo. The more experienced players in the clan has told me they don't mind mentoring and giving advises to whoever needs help, so dont be shy to approach them :D

what advise would you give to people trying to raise elo, he replied "Focus on a few champions, reach a certain elo, and then you focus on others. Take a step at a time. Get a duo partner, that you believe have the same skill level elo as you. Preferbly someone about the same elo range and help each other to get higher"
